An alternative to scissors, rotary cutters are considered an essential tool in quilting and patchwork, usually seen in combination with rulers and cutting mats to achieve remarkably straight edges for accurate sewing. It's essentially a rolling razor blade that cuts fabric into pieces, strips and shapes. This smaller size of 28mm is great for english and foundation paper piecing methods, miniatures and applique. 

The blade is made from high-quality tungsten carbide tool steel for superior sharpness and edge retention. As soon as the blade starts to dull, simply replace with another blade. It's always useful to have spares on hand.
