Shipping policy
Preparation of order
At Knit Stitch Chill we understand the desire to receive your goods as soon as possible after placing an order. As such, we will make every effort to send any orders received prior to 1pm Mon-Fri out on the same day, before the last Royal Mail collection at the Post Office. However, we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible, and where we don't achieve it we will prioritise sending it out the next day.
Please note that as a one-woman small business, there will be times where I'll be on leave, exhibiting at a show, or have a lot of orders to work through, therefore there may be times when the preparation of orders is slower. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you of this ahead of placing an order through clear written communication on our website.
Delivery
All orders are sent as Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-3 working days) as standard at a flat-fee P&P rate of £3.50, unless you have chosen to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery (1-2 working days) which is a flat-fee P&P rate of £4.30.
If you haven't received your item by the due date plus 7 working days please get in touch with us at info@knitstitchchill.co.uk so that we can follow this up with Royal Mail and work towards a solution.
Please note that Royal Mail customers are experiencing delays in some areas, therefore, this guidance regarding timing does not act as a guarantee and we cannot be held responsible for any delays on Royal Mail's behalf.
Free postage
We will provide free Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-3 working days) postage on orders over the value of £45. If you would like to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 working days) the flat-fee P&P rate of £4.30 will be charged.
Packaging
In our efforts to prioritise sustainability, we have chosen plastic-free packaging options as far as possible. This also means you may not receive a printed invoice or delivery note in an effort to reduce waste - should one be required please add it to your delivery instructions prior to order.
International delivery
We are only accepting orders within the UK (including Northern Ireland) at this time while we work through the early stages of our business. EU and international delivery is something we hope to accommodate very soon.
