Beginner Cross Stitch Class on Saturday Afternoons: 17th Oct to 24th Oct 2026 2pm-4pm

Learn to cross stitch in Dungannon in our beginner-level class. In 2 weekly sessions, Jill will teach you how to cross stitch in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll develop a foundational base of knowledge and skills so that you can continue to cross stitch with confidence once the course has finished. 

These classes will take place on Saturday afternoons 2pm-4pm in Dungannon Presbyterian Church Hall (not affiliated - classes are open to everyone). The dates are 17th Oct and 24th Oct.

You'll make: 

• A cross stitch coaster
  

You'll learn how to: 

• Start using loop start and waste knot techniques
• Keep your stitches looking uniform 
• Prevent your thread from forming knots
• Finish your thread by weaving in 
• Change thread colour
• Follow a pattern
• Choose and prepare your fabric
  

We'll provide you with: 

• Aida fabric
• Threads
• Tapestry Needle
• Blank coaster template
• Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits
