This enchanting collection from Liberty celebrates the famous brand's roots as it marks 150 years in business. Capturing their iconic Tudor building in the heart of London and eclectic departments, these prints pay tribute to Liberty's eccentric spirit. Featuring thread reels, scissors and flowers in stunningly pretty pinks, purples, yellows and oranges these fabrics are guaranteed to turn heads.
The Liberty of London design house has certainly earned its revered status over its 150 years, from artistic escapism to delivering the utmost quality. Their iconic designs are hand-drawn by their in-house artists before being traditionally screen-printed in their Italian Mill near the banks of Lake Como. This method vividly infuses rich colour tones into the soft and smooth fabric.
Lasenby Cotton is a relatively recent addition, having been introduced in 2017. Named after the Liberty founder, Arthur Lasenby Liberty, it's designed with quilting in mind, offering smaller and more conversational designs. It's an easy-to-use traditional quilting weight cotton, and is therefore heavier and sturdier than Liberty Tana Lawn, yet still retains a soft and smooth drape.
