Beginner Crochet Class on Saturday Mornings: 12th Sep to 3rd Oct 2026 10am-12pm

Learn to crochet in Dungannon in our beginner-level class. In 4 weekly sessions, Jill will teach you a variety of crochet techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll develop a foundational base of knowledge and skills so that you can continue to crochet with confidence once the course has finished. 

These classes will take place on Saturday mornings 10am-12pm in Dungannon Presbyterian Church Hall (not affiliated - classes are open to everyone). The dates are 12th Sep, 19th Sep, 26th Sep, 3rd Oct. 

You'll make: 

• A keyring
• Granny squares
• A book cover

You'll learn how to: 

• Cast on
• Make basic stitches 
• Crochet flat
• Crochet in the round
• Cast off
• Change colour
• Sew in ends
• Seaming using mattress stitch
• Follow a pattern

We'll provide you with: 

• A 4mm crochet hook
• Yarn
• Wool needle
• Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits
• (Feel free to bring your own hook and DK yarn if you wish)
