These are fully machine washable and dry cleanable (it's recommended that the garment is turned inside out before washing, and that normal care is taken in the handling of the item). Due to their handmade nature, there may be some slight variation in the colour and size of each button. As well as being eco-friendly, they are made by a socially-conscious small business based in South Africa. They employ local women to handcraft the buttons, many of whom are the sole breadwinner of their family, thus uplifting them with economic empowerment.
